The Knights of Columbus (K of C) is a global Catholic fraternal service order founded by Blessed Michael J. McGivney. Charity is the foremost important principle of the Knights of Columbus. At their 2023 convention, Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly said that the organization had donated $185 million and 49 million volunteer-hours toward charity projects in 2022. Charitable activities include support for refugees, aid for victims of natural disasters.
