Noelle Garcia

Noelle Garcia is a speaker and recording artist with World Library Publications and One Voice Media. She was featured on EWTN and CNN’s Latino in America for her witness on overcoming insecurity. Noelle has been working in youth ministry for over 10 years and combines witness and song to spread the Gospel. She is currently pursuing her master’s of theological studies and resides in Dodge City, Kansas, with her husband and fellow youth/music minister and their five children. Noelle loves avoiding Kansas tornados, eating tacos, and binge watching British drama and The Office reruns.

Chris Padgett

Chris Padgett has been doing ministry for over 30 years. He is an author, musician, teacher, comedian, and motivational speaker. Chris has been married to his high school sweetheart for 31 years, and they have nine children. He has appeared on television and radio and has been a regular speaker and entertainer at Steubenville Youth Conferences. Chris was an adjunct professor of theology at Franciscan University and currently teaches for Catholic Distance University. The Padgett family lives in Central New York. Chris O’Hara

Chris O’Hara has been working with Catholic youth for 15 years after rediscovering his faith at a Steubenville Youth Conference in High School. He works in the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth office of Pastoral Life and New Evangelization and teaches courses at Atlantic School of Theology. Chris has worked with Catholic Christian Outreach, FacetoFace Ministries, St. Therese Institute of Faith and Mission, and Franciscan LEAD. He loves hockey and board games, and has three kids with his beautiful wife Becca, who he met in Steubenville Ohio! We are so excited to have Chris join our Steubenville team this year as a speaker.

Fr. Simon Lobo

Fr. Simon Lobo is a priest of the Companions of the Cross, ordained in 2009. He worked for three years as the campus minister at Wayne State University in Detroit where he witnessed hundreds of students being evangelized and coming to faith. Over the last several years, he has served in parishes throughout Ottawa. He joined the team at Saint Benedict Parish, Halifax, in July 2015 as the associate pastor where he experienced parish renewal and learned about the essential role of leadership. Fr. Simon is now the pastor of Saint Benedict Parish here in Halifax where parish renewal continues to flourish.

James Pereira

After serving with NET Ministries as a full time missionary in Catholic parishes all over Canada he has been convicted of the power of the Gospel to transform lives and the incredibly important role local churches play. James is from Ottawa, Ontario but today he calls Halifax home where he works for Holy Cross Chaplaincy at Dalhousie and Saint Mary’s Universities. We are so excited to have James on our team this year as our Worship Team Leader!
