Buses / Parking

Car/Van Parking
All vehicles carrying 15 or fewer passengers should use the S. Granada Ave. entrance and take a right before the main entrance circle to enter Lot B.

Please use ONLY the 1st-3rd parking lanes to park personal vehicles.  The spaces beyond the 3rd parking lane are reserved for bus staging and parking.

Bus Staging
Buses must use the W. Cushing St. entrance to El Paso Ave.  Buses should then make an immediate left into Lot B.

The 4th-6th parking lanes in Lot B will be the bus staging area.  If your bus is not going to be parked on site for the day, please use those lanes to unload/load your groups. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with directing traffic.
Your driver can stage the bus for loading no earlier than 30 minutes prior to dismissal and must stay with the bus while waiting.

Bus Parking
A limited number of bus parking spaces are available in the 7th parking lane of Lot B for those needing to park the bus on site for the day.

Pedestrian Safety
When crossing the street between Lot B and the main entrance, please be sure your teens pay attention to traffic.

Click here for the Parking Map.

Prayer Ministry

Prayer is the heartbeat of new life in Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit. We encourage groups leaders and chaperones to pray with their young people – and each other!    May we always call upon the Holy Spirit to give us the gifts and graces we need to support going deeper in our understanding of God and his call on our lives as his sons and daughters, using the gifts he so graciously bestowed on us.

Various members of the local team will be available for prayer ministry.  Feel free to approach one of your chaperones or a conference volunteer to ask for prayer! Visit the Chapel in Loyola Room 183 to take some time in prayer.

Cell Phones

Cell phones are allowed during the Steubenville Conference. The best use for a cell phone during a Steubenville Conference is to stay connected to your group, view the schedule and messages on the MyParish app, and to share stories with your family and friends at home! Rules and Regulations

Life Teen is committed to creating an unforgettable and life-changing experience for the youth we serve at Steubenville Conferences, and effective relational ministry is key to creating this experience.

All participants are expected to maintain a Christ-centered atmosphere and treat others with respect and kindness.

Safe Environment Guidelines
All adults attending a Steubenville Conference hosted by Life Teen are responsible for setting and maintaining clear, appropriate boundaries in all ministry relationships, following the Safe Environment guidelines laid out here. In addition to those Safe Environment standards, all groups should adhere to the policies defined by their home diocese. Any suspected inappropriate behavior should be reported to a member of the event staff.

Chaperone Supervision
Adult chaperones must be with youth at all times during the conference. Youth should not wander around the facility without a chaperone present. It is the chaperone’s responsibility to keep the youth safe and supervised at all times throughout the weekend.

Please be sure to always maintain groups of three or more. An adult and a teen should never be alone without another person present. If, for pastoral purposes, an adult needs to have a private conversation with a minor, this must be done in the line of sight of others.

Teens are expected to remain present for every session. If it becomes necessary to leave, teens must be accompanied by an adult chaperone and at least one other individual.

Smoking/Alcohol/Weapons
Participants will not possess or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Except for designated outside areas, all conference venues are smoke-free facilities. Group leaders and chaperones will not smoke or use tobacco products, including vaping, or use profanity in the presence of teens. Weapons are not permitted at the event.

Elevators
Please reserve the elevators for participants who require mobility assistance.

Dress Code

All participants, including adults, are expected to dress appropriately in modest attire. Low-cut tops, miniskirts, short shorts, and clothing with offensive language or obscene pictures are not permitted. Shoes must be worn at all times.
